Introduction
Run with zero harsh impact! The Octane ZR7 Zero Runner serves as a zero impact runner’s treadmill and adapts for short strides too. This innovative fitness machine suspends your whole body to help make exercising comfortable, and its pedals move independently to support your natural motion. The ZR7 supports a maximum 58″ stride and also has upper-body Cross Circuit workouts. An iPad Mini (included) and your wireless connection provide access to personalized training and advanced data tracking with SmartLink.
Workout Programs
The Octane ZR7 provides personalized training with SmartLink. SmartLink was developed with expert input to create customized training programs based on your body and goals. Choose from endurance training, strength training or active recovery (physical rehabilitation). Just like a car’s GPS, SmartLink can recalibrate during workouts to help you stay on track.
An iPad Mini is included. SmartLink is compatible with Bluetooth 4.0, iPad 3rd generation and later, iPhone 5 and later, iPod Touch 5th generation and later, and iOS 8.0 and later.
Zero Runner ZR7 Features
The Octane ZR7’s defining feature is its naturally adjusting stride. Its pedals move independently from each other to support your natural gait. You can take short stairclimbing steps, long walking strides or top speed sprints — all with zero impact on your ankles, knees and back.
Attachments are included to help you cross train with upper body stretches and other exercises. Training programs on the ZR7 can prompt you to switch between activities.
To help improve your gait and performance, a stride monitor is included. Keep an eye on the Stride Tracing feature to see when fatigue is evident. Adjust your form and train more effectively!
Long-term data tracking is supported by StrideLink. With StrideLink you can monitor a wide range of stats such as distance covered, heart rate and calories burned. View just your current workout, a month’s worth, or your full history of training on the Octane.
For heart rate data the ZR7 is compatible with Bluetooth, Polar and ANT+ transmitters. It also has contact sensors.
The console runs on batteries, so there’s no cord to limit your placement of the machine.
Warranty & Guarantee
The Octane ZR7 Zero Runner warranty includes:

Conclusion
The Octane ZR7 Zero Runner is an impressive zero impact alternative to treadmills and elliptical trainers. It costs more than these trainers but accomplishes a lot more too. Some shoppers opt for the higher model, the ZR8, because it has even lighter pedals and moving arm bars — but the high quality and comfortable ZR7 is likely to satisfy almost any trainee.
