Who We Serve

FitRated aims to help each fitness equipment shopper quickly find their personal best value. Commercial and residential shoppers can benefit here; we profile fitness equipment with commercial, light commercial and residential warranties. We apply our industry experience, leading edge technology and a top-notch editorial team to help ease anyone’s research about exercise bikes, treadmills, ellipticals, rowers and other training equipment.
Our product reviews and general shoppers’ guides are especially useful to readers in North America, but many of the featured brands have global distribution.

Our Scientific Approach

Useful fitness equipment reviews are the heart of our website. We leverage advanced technology to physically evaluate treadmills, ellipticals, exercise bikes and other fitness equipment featured in our in-depth product reviews. We learn about many of the cardio trainers and multi-gyms from the ground up; our team members tour factories and meet with manufacturers to gain expert knowledge. FitRated also uses a proprietary comparison tool to translate our test results into useful data for our readers. This helps us produce comparison charts that show specs for five top products in many categories, such as the chart “The Five Best Treadmills for Home Use.”

Beyond the Numbers

The FitRated team strives to share shopping insights based on our real-life experience with the fitness industry’s diverse brands and innovations. The main FitRated team has more than 30 years of industry experience, and all our team members are active exercisers with interests ranging from yoga to running to Crossfit. Sometimes our contributors share their favorite workouts and other fitness news on the FitRated blog; our original blogger kicked things off with tips reflecting the expertise she gained as a certified personal trainer and bachelor of exercise science. Our team members also share reviews of fitness equipment sales for holidays such as Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
