It uses Horizon’s heaviest flywheel (30 pounds), has excellent ergonomics, and is loaded with 46 training programs including two that use interactive video. Workout Programs
The Elite E9 includes the most training support of any Horizon elliptical. Programmed into the console are 44 standard workouts, two high definition video workouts and a workout calendar. Also provided is a wifi connection for sharing fitness data with the ViaFit app for Android and iOS.
The 44 preset workout programs can control the Elite E9’s resistance and incline. With the 7″ touchscreen, navigating the generous program menu is easy. The data displayed are Heart Rate, Time, Speed, Distance, Calories, Resistance, Incline, Laps, Watts and RPM.
Two HD video workouts show high definition footage of the scenic American Southwest and Northern Italy. Called “Virtual Active,” these unique videos are shown on the full-color 7″ touch screen and sync to your workout intensity. Additional Virtual Active videos are sold separately.
