To help you train efficiently the Horizon Elite E9 has a 7″ touchscreen giving access to a workout calendar, 44 standard elliptical workout programs and two Virtual Active workout videos. Introduction

The Elite E9 is the top elliptical trainer from Horizon Fitness. It uses Horizon’s heaviest flywheel (30 pounds), has excellent ergonomics, and is loaded with 46 training programs including two that use interactive video. Virtually escape to Northern Italy, tour the American Southwest and exercise with other Virtual Active videos available in Travel Packs. Workout Programs

The Elite E9 includes the most training support of any Horizon elliptical. Programmed into the console are 44 standard workouts, two high definition video workouts and a workout calendar. Also provided is a wifi connection for sharing fitness data with the ViaFit app for Android and iOS.

The 44 preset workout programs can control the Elite E9’s resistance and incline. With the 7″ touchscreen, navigating the generous program menu is easy. The data displayed are Heart Rate, Time, Speed, Distance, Calories, Resistance, Incline, Laps, Watts and RPM.

Two HD video workouts show high definition footage of the scenic American Southwest and Northern Italy. Called “Virtual Active,” these unique videos are shown on the full-color 7″ touch screen and sync to your workout intensity. Additional Virtual Active videos are sold separately.

Horizon Fitness Elite E9 Features

The screen for showing built-in workouts is a full-color high definition 7″ touchscreen. This is the only Horizon elliptical that has a touchscreen instead of a traditional one-color LCD.

Add your favorite music and apps to elliptical workout time. The Horizon Elite E9 is an iPod-compatible elliptical trainer; it has a port and sound system for your iPod or other compatible MP3 player. A tablet computer holder is built into the machine too.

ViaFit connectivity lets you easily manage your workout data, including exercise you do away from the E9. Export your fitness data to social media or track your progress privately. The ViaFit app for Android and iOS makes it easy to get an overall view of your fitness activity.

For heart rate monitoring the Elite E9 offers two options. Use a wireless chest strap (included) or grip the pulse sensors on the handlebars.
