Our Rating

Rating: 84/100. The Horizon 7.0AE Elliptical is a front wheel drive, which makes it more compact and space friendly. It’s built with the Six Star frame that works to your body. The 23 lbs. flywheel makes it a more durable machine, with a smoother and quieter glide. The heavier flywheel is also conducive to a user’s weight of 325 lbs. The stride length is very important as it affects the type of workout you will experience depending on your height. The 20” stride length will accommodate those 5’3″ to 6’6”, which means just about anybody or everyone in the family will feel comfortable using it.  The wide range of incline levels (15) and resistance levels (15) means almost an endless amount of challenging combinations, this is good for both beginners and more advanced users. This means the Horizon 7.0AE will be a useful elliptical for years to come because the user’s fitness level won’t surpass the elliptical’s “challenging” capabilities as their fitness increases. Heart rate monitoring is easily readable with the grip pulse. Connect to speakers and enhance music, shows, podcasts – whatever motivates and gets you going. The app compatibility allows for both Android and Apple users to sync their fitness apps of choice. The screen size is a little small considering the average screen size of new machines are up to 10”.

Pros:

  • Flywheel: The 23 lbs.  flywheel makes for a smoother and quieter workout.
  • Warranty: The 3 yr. for parts is a decent period of time.
  • Incline levels: 15 levels of power inclines
  • Resistance level: 15 resistance levels
  • Fitness App/App compatibility: Various apps and compatibility allows all users to sync with Apple or Android.
  • Bluetooth compatibility

Cons:

  • Screen size: It’s a little small compared to the new screen size standard of 10”
