Introduction
The Horizon Adventure 3 is a reliable home treadmill for walkers. Essentially it’s the same treadmill as the more expensive Adventure 5, but it has a shorter track and a slightly simpler computer (a smaller screen and fewer workout programs). Key features of the Horizon Adventure 3 are a 55″ x 20″ track, a 2.5 CHP motor, a power incline up to 12 percent, and 30 training programs. Included for extra motivation are a tablet computer holder and an iPod-compatible sound system. Workout data are shown on a backlit 5.75″ screen and can be sent to a ViaFit mobile app.
Workout Programs
The Horizon Adventure 3 console computer has 30 preset workout programs. These control the treadmill’s speed and incline to let you focus on music or your apps during training. The 5.75″ LCD shows Time, Distance, Laps, Calories, Speed, Incline and Heart Rate. Heart rate is measured with contact sensors on the handlebars.
For high tech treadmill training, Virtual Active workouts are available with a Passport player (sold separately). A Passport player can work with a home television to show interactive Passport videos. These immersive high definition videos let you virtually walk or jog through beautiful destinations in North America and Europe. The videos can adjust to your workout intensity and control the Horizon Adventure 3’s maximum 12 percent incline to simulate real landscapes.
Passport players are sometimes preloaded with destinations such as Northern Italy and the American Southwest. Some of the destinations in Passport Travel Packs are British Columbia, Death Valley, California desert, the Rocky Mountains and Paris.
Adventure 3 Features
Music motivates during treadmill workouts, so bring your iPod along. The Horizon Adventure 3 is an iPod-compatible treadmill with an MP3 player dock and speakers. It also has a tablet computer rack so you can stream your favorite shows during exercise.
Advanced cushioning on Horizon Adventure treadmills helps you avoid injury and perform more efficiently. Three different firmness levels are used across the deck.
To help you burn more calories and target different muscle groups, the Adventure 3 track tilts up to 12 percent. Keeping cool is easier with a convenient water bottle holder.
A hydraulic system called FeatherLight makes it easy to fold the Horizon Adventure 3 after workout time. With its deck folded upward, the Adventure 3 has a footprint of 45″ x 34″.
Warranty & Guarantee
The Horizon Adventure 3 Treadmill warranty includes:
– Frame: Lifetime
– Motor: Lifetime
