Introduction

The Yowza Daytona is a commercial-grade trainer with industry standard specs when you compare motor (3.0 CHP), deck (20″ x 60″) and 15 workout programs.

The Daytona also offers a number of enticing extras, like mp3 compatibility and access to Intelligent Weight Management (IWM).

Workout Programs

The Yowza Fitness Daytona provides 15 pre-defined workout programs and nine user slots for custom options.

The user memory slots track a user’s age, weight, and fitness level.

The pre-defined workout selection includes a nice mix of target, speed, weight loss and 5K run/walk options.

However, it is not until you mention the term ‘Intelligent Weight Management’ that you really get excited about the Yowza Daytona.

IWM consists of a wireless digital scale which connects with your console. If you are concerned that you are putting on weight, users step on the scale for a quick weight reading.

Then, the data is transferred to the treadmill’s console where a personalized exercise program is created to fit your physical needs, and helps you burn those extra calories.

IWM is surprisingly adept at creating a workout that will help you shed those extra pounds, yet users may still take over and update workout variables to maximize results.

The patented Yowza fitness technology is a self-learning system that stores the latest workout program to make your next workout easier. Additionally, IWM also deals with proper snacking and meal intake — just like a diet program — while also delivering muscle proportions that diets are not able to provide.

Yowza Fitness Daytona Features

The Yowza Daytona is highlighted by the aforementioned Intelligent Weight Management (IWM), but has plenty of other features to persuade any buyer that the Daytona should be their next home treadmill.

In terms of raw specs, the Daytona features a 3.0 CHP motor, 20″ x 60″ running surface, speeds that reach 11 mph and 12 percent incline. All of the specs are comparable to models found in this price range.

Quick controls are located on the ergonomic console which is also where you access and control IWM. The console also has two cup holders, heart rate monitors, and two three-speed fans.

Listen to music directly from the treadmill with an mp3 jack and hi-fidelity built in speakers.

Monitor heart rate with built-in pulse grips as well as wireless chest belt.

The Yowza Fitness Daytona features a low maintenance deck with three layers of lamination. It certainly beats other treadmills that often require monthly belt lubrication.

The patented swing arm with progressive shock absorption is easy on joints with a floating deck and variable cushioning. In short, the deck provides firm support where runners push off the track and more cushioning where they land.

If you’re tight on space you might want to think twice about the Yowza Daytona. It is non-folding and takes up a 83″ x 35″ area.

Large Size: This treadmill has a large footprint: It requires 83″L x 35″W of floor space. Other Yowza treadmills (the Sebring, Siesta and Osprey) can be folded to save space.

Warranty & Guarantee

The Yowza Fitness Daytona treadmill warranty and guarantee includes:

– Frame: Lifetime
– Motor: Lifetime
– Parts & Electronics: 5 Years
– Labor: 2 Years (In-Home)

Conclusion

The Yowza Fitness Daytona is a commercial-grade treadmill with Intelligent Weight Management that is designed to maximize workout results. It’s comparable to the Yowza Sebring and Lido, but with less maintenance required.
