Weslo Momentum 620 Review

This product has been discontinued

Quick Summary

The Weslo Momentum 620 is commonly found at massive retailers like Wal-Mart and Sears and lacks the quality that other ellipticals almost always guarantee.

The Weslo Momentum 620 is reasonably priced around $200 and features 10 levels of resistance (pretty good for price range), but is equipped with some cheaply made parts that are sadly only covered for 90 days.

The Momentum 620 will start you working out and eliminate gym fees but that’s about it.

Introduction

Based on the price, the Weslo Momentum 620 comes across as a steal.

The elliptical has a few decent features such as the Silent Magnetic Resistance and 10 separate resistance levels.

Unfortunately, the stride length is only 13 inches and unsatisfactory for a lot of larger body types and/or longer limbs.

Workout information such as speed, distance, time and odometer are displayed nicely with the LCD display, but you’ll get very little in terms of electronics.

Workout Programs

The Weslo Momentum 620 supports two workout programs that you personalize yourself as well as an EasyPulse Heart Rate monitor.

Simply place your thumb on the EKG sensor for your reading.

The Target Pacer also keeps you informed on when you need to pump it up and work harder or slow down the pace.

Weslo Momentum 620 Elliptical Features

The Weslo Momentum 620 requires assembly upon shipment and is extremely light at 96 lbs. Consequently, the trainer is very compact and easy to transport, though it’s difficult to trust the stability of an elliptical that weighs so little.

Easily the most attractive feature of the Momentum 620 is the adjustable levels of resistance that offers 10 different options.

Everything is displayed nicely on the clear LCD screen that tracks speed, time, distance, calories burned, fat calories burned and pulse. Adjust resistance levels with the digital control feature button on the console.

Step in and out of your elliptical more easily than ever before with the Step-Through Design. The Target Pacer is a great addition. It lets you know when you need to work a little harder or slow down.

Warranty & Guarantee

The Weslo Momentum 620 elliptical warranty and guarantee includes:

– Frame: 90 Days
– Parts: 90 Days
– Electronics: 90 Days

Conclusion

These days, $250 is not much for an elliptical so the Weslo Momentum 620 will accomplish its primary goal — tricking a few people into buying a poorly made elliptical.

You get what you pay for and with the measly 90 day warranty on frame, parts and electronics the Momentum 620’s longevity is definitely questionable.
