It is electrical. Power supply comes with it, plugs in near the bottom-front of the wheel.

Is this bike battery operated or electrical

My husband is 8" taller than I am, so we have to readjust the seat frequently. It isn't too difficult. I have arthritis in my hands and gripping is sometimes difficult for me, but I haven't had any problems with readjusting the seat.

The assembly of the R514c requires some mechanical and physical ability but there were no problems in following the instructions as they were exceptional. The operational instructions on the R514c were adequate, but it would have been nice if Nautilus had included an operating guide that was as well done as the assembly instructions. You can download this information on your computer. The performance of the R514c is excellent and what you would expect from Nautilus.

I actually purchased this for my parents, they wanted to get more excercise they both use it and love it, it is easy to use fun to ride amd it makes them enjoy their excercise.

Great Excercise bike

This bike arrived before the expected date. The instructions were clear, and all parts were included to assemble the bike. Assembly took about two hours. The bike is very quiet, and everything worked perfectly. We were disappointed that we had to download the operating manual for the console from the Nautilus website and print it ourselves, but it was well written and easy to follow to set up our individualized programs. The bike is comfortable for both myself (5'2") and my husband (5'10"). I especially like the fact that it has a place on the console to prop a book, and my husband enjoys the mp3 plug-in so he can listen to his ipod. So far, we're very happy with this product.

Good quality you expect from a Nautilus product

Tried many times to get to work and first issue is the book was only half there. After many calls I was able to download the book and start over. Then it still didn't work so I took off the covers from the factory and the belt was off and would not line up to make it work. Now I have to find a way to bring it to a random store to have it replaced and see if that works. Large waste of time and money.
