Exercises You Can Do With Sliders
Sliding Reverse Lunge
Stand in staggered stance, with one foot slightly in front of the other, back foot on slider, with toes touching, heel lifted. Keeping weight in front leg, slowly bend front knee and lower to 90-degrees (or as low as you’re able) as you slide other leg backwards into a lunge position. Keeping spine straight and chest lifted, slide back leg forward as you stand back up. Repeat, then switch legs.
Mountain Climbers
Get into plank position, hands on floor directly under shoulders, core tight, body in a straight line from head to toe, toes on sliders. Bend right knee and use core to move right slider up between hands while keeping left leg still. Straighten right leg backwards as you simultaneously bend left knee and use core to move left slider up between hands. Continue alternating.
Pike Up
Get into plank position, hands on floor directly under shoulders, core tight, body in a straight line from head to toe, toes on sliders. Keep legs straight and brace your core as you lift hips up towards ceiling and move both sliders up towards hands. Go as far as you can. Slowly lower back down. Repeat.
Plank To Bear
Get into plank position, hands on floor directly under shoulders, core tight, body in a straight line from head to toe, toes on sliders. Slowly bend both knees and slide toes forward towards hands until knees are bent 90 degrees, stacked directly under hips, about six inches off the ground. Slowly extend knees and push legs back out to starting plank position.
