Introduction

The Landice U7 is an upright exercise bike made in the USA. Featuring club-quality parts and electronics, it’s guaranteed for a lifetime of home use. Below we describe the Landice upright bike control panel, parts, and lifetime warranty.

Control Panel Options

Landice upright bikes come with the choice of two control panels. Depending on your needs and budget, you’re bound to find just what you’re looking for.

Cardio Control Panel

The basic option that provides the general features and workout programming is the Cardio Control Panel. This console works well for the average shopper and provides:

  • 4 motivational display screens
  • Data storage for four users
  • 5 built-in programs
  • 5 user-defined programs
  • Time, distance, and calorie goal programs
  • 2 built-in interactive heartrate monitoring programs
  • 2 user-defined heartrate monitoring programs

Achieve Control Panel

For an extra $300, the Achieve Control Panel picks up where the Cardio Control Panel leaves off with additional programming features that expand your horizons including:

  • An extra motivational display screen
  • 3 more built-in programs
  • An additional user-defined program
  • 2 HIIT programs
  • 2 extra user-defined heartrate monitoring programs

Heart rate can be monitored with contact sensors or wirelessly. Contact sensors are built into the handlebars, and a wireless transmitter is sold separately. Color-coded lights (red, yellow and green) on the Landice bike console indicate whether you’re exercising above, below, or within your target heart rate zone.

Landice U7 Features

Landice upright bikes have 20 magnetically-controlled resistance levels. The lowest setting is very light and may be appropriate for rehabilitative exercise. At 400 Watts, users experience the toughest setting which is ample force for the typical home bike user.

Handlebars on the Landice U7 are adjustable to support different riding positions and body sizes. Resistance controls are built into the handlebar tips for convenience. The seat is padded and contoured for comfort. It can be easily positioned into a choice of 12 up/down settings without tools to accommodate a wide range of user heights.

For on-board digital entertainment, you can set a tablet computer on the console shelf; add a tablet or VESA-D bracket for maximum customization and enjoyment.

Heart rate can be monitored with contact grips. However, these may require up to 45 seconds of contact before a readout is provided. The most convenient way to measure heart rate is with a wireless heart rate transmitter sold separately.

Amenities include a three-speed cooling fan, a bottle holder, and an accessory pocket. For convenience and energy conservation, the U7 is cord-free. The console electronics are powered by the rider instead of electricity.

Landice upright bike dimensions are approximately 45″ L 25″ W x 58″ H. This unit weighs 159 pounds and has transport wheels.

Warranty & Guarantee

Landice backs this purchase for a lifetime. The U7 upright bike warranty provides:

– Frame: Lifetime

– Parts & Electronics: Lifetime

– Labor: One year

The manufacturer also guarantees machine replacement if a unit is defective.

Conclusion

The Landice U7 is a top-notch upright bike. It costs twice as much as other stationary bikes but could easily serve 20-times longer. Comfortable seating, good physical adjustability, and very customizable workout programs round out the excellent basics. Add your tablet computer, iPad, or even a television to create an all-around luxurious home exercise center.
