Introduction

Although LiveStrong has been a reputable exercise equipment manufacture the last few years a lot of experts tend to overlook the company when discussing the very best fitness manufactures.

However, with the quality and care that went into the LiveStrong LS8.0E that may soon change.

The elliptical is a quality deal with all the necessary specs for an effective workout as well as several extra features.

Additionally, LiveStrong takes it a step further by supporting a phenomenal cause. Each purchase of the LS8.0E ensures that the company with donate a minimum of $4 million to the LiveSTRONG Foundation and the fight against cancer.

Workout Programs

The LiveStrong LS8.0E elliptical does fall a little short in terms of pre-defined workouts.

Nine options is not terrible but we have found other ellipticals in the $500 to $1,000 price range that offer a lot more.

The LiveStrong LS8.0E also includes heart rate monitoring (via contact grips) and five levels of incline though it’s only manually adjustable.

The nine pre-defined workout programs include Climb, Muscle Toner, and more.

While enduring an intense workout, stay cool with the built-in cooling fan.

Elliptical Features

The LiveStrong LS8.0E provides 3 window LED display which monitors crucial exercise data.

The elliptical is compatible with iPod/mp3 players and you do not need earphones as the LS8.0E has built-in speakers.

In terms of performance, the elliptical is powered by a heavy 23 lb. flywheel that delivers a smooth motion. The 16 levels of resistance and 20″ stride length will support most users.

Thanks to the SIXSTAR Certified frame, the LS8.0E offers a unique combination of the six key elements needed to deliver the most natural elliptical feel available. It focuses on all areas that impact the feel and comfort of an elliptical, including body positioning, handlebar spacing, elliptical foot path, pedal placement, elliptical access and the trainer’s drive mechanism.

Adjust the resistance level on the fly with quick controls (it would have been nice to see the incline quickly adjusted that way too).

Hi Frank, Try looking on Livestrong's site or contacting their support. From what we know, the model has been discontinued and therefore - you'll have to shop around for the specific parts. You can also consider buying a new elliptical, which you can view our top choices here: https://www.fitrated.com/ellipticals/.
