Yowza Fitness Keewadin Review

Intro

Yowza Fitness Smyrna Treadmill

For those of you who are familiar with Yowza, you will note that both the Keewadin and Biscayne are very similar in features and specs.

Yowza has a stellar reputation of designing and producing some of the best treadmills on the market. The founder of the brand actually left Smooth Fitness (another solid treadmill producer) and has invented some incredible features.

The Keewadin has received a lot of accolades with some experts calling it one of the best new treadmills from 2010.

Equipped with all the industry standard specs, the Yowza Keewadin also highlights swing-arm shock absorption and a floating deck for amazing comfort.

Introduction

Reasonably priced, the Yowza Keewadin is a moderately cheaper version of the Yowza Biscayne yet still offers practically identical specs and common parts only seen on Yowza products.

The Keewadin, for one, sports a slight increase in speed and incline range but still has the electronic luxuries of the iPod dock and Hi-Fi speakers.

In fact, what you also save in price you also save in space as the Keewadin is a little lighter and easier to transport when compared to the Biscayne treadmill.

Workout Programs

The Yowza Keewadin features the general range of workouts, including weight loss, speed interval, 5K walk and run and more.

Thanks to nine user profiles, Yowza stands out in this particular area and caters to a wide number of exercise levels.

Last but not least, the Polar Heart Rate Chest Belt ($40 value) is included with the Keewadin and makes heart rate monitoring, along with the pulse grips, a breeze.

Treadmill Features

Everything you need to know or monitor is displayed nicely on an LED display. Get lost in your music thanks to an iPod dock and built-in speakers with Hi-Fi sound quality.

The motor, deck size and other parts and dimensions are also commercial grade.

Specific to Yowza, the treadmill also incorporates a “floating deck” which is designed to provide a soft landing surface but not sacrifice the resistance needed when your feet push off from the rear.

Combine that with the swing arm shock absorption and your ankles, knees, hip and back should endure far less stress, wear and tear.
