Quick Summary

Introduction

Yowza is quick to take advantage of the Biscayne’s rare combination of durability and condensed features. Once the Biscayne is folded the treadmill only takes up a mere 23.8″ and is fully transportable with built-in wheels.

It’s unusual to find a treadmill that folds into such a small space yet still includes a very generous running surface (20″ x 60″) and will support users up to 350 lbs.

The only real criticism is that since the treadmill is so large not everyone can easily move the 250+ lbs. machine around regardless of its transport wheels.

Workout Programs

The Yowza Biscayne offers 15 different workout programs including a few custom slots.

If you are familiar with most treadmills than you will see a similar selection of weight loss, countdown, interval, 5K and other standard exercises.

The Yowza Biscayne also features pulse grips for heart rate monitoring as well as a couple heart rate pre-defined workout programs.

The trainer is not compatible with iFit Live, which is not a huge deal since Yowza has put enough programs on the treadmill to cover the basics.

Treadmill Features

The Yowza provides a commercial-grade 3.0 CHP motor and 20″ x 60″ running surface, sufficient for most users.

Yowza’s patent floating deck provides a soft landing surface in front with a firm surface in the back to push off with. The Biscayne’s progressive shock absorption helps put less stress on vital bones and joints.

The ergonomically designed console on the Yowza Biscayne incldues quick controls, single touch resistance, speed and incline control and a 3-speed workout fan.

Listen to your tunes with mp3 compatibility and enjoy crisp sound on Hi-Fidelity built-in speakers.

The triple phenolic laminated deck on the Yowza Biscayne is reversible and requires no regular maintenance. The crowned rollers with sealed bearings provide superior belt tracking.

Stay abreast with workout statistics and information that is displayed nicely on large LED display.

Conclusion

In hindsight, the Yowza Biscayne is really hard to dislike. It has all the necessary specs, a few extra luxuries as well as the ability to fold and store compact if space is an issue. Do not get completely fooled by thinking it’s the most compact treadmill on the market (it’s not), but Yowza has found an innovative way to fold a treadmill like we’ve never seen before.
