Introduction

Budget. Budget. Budget.

If you’re on a really tight budget the Weslo CrossWalk S 7.9 is obviously one of your top options.

Priced at $399, the treadmill costs pennies in this exercise equipment climate with a 2.5 HP motor, 18″ x 50″ running surface, 6 pre-defined workout programs, and Dual-Grip PowerPulse heart rate monitor.

The size of the motor (2.5 HP) is reasonable, especially for the price paid, though the size of the deck (18″ x 50″) and max user weight (250 lbs.) are not suitable for larger users.

Workout Programs

The pre-defined workout variety is next to nothing since the Weslo CrossWalk S 7.9 only offers three different exercise routines.

The trainer is, however, equipped with “CrossWalk Arm Trainer” which the manufacture promises will burn 50% more calories.

The “CrossWalk Arm Trainer” is a mechanism designed to incorporate your upper body into the exercise. It essentially replaces the need for light weight dumbbells and gets your upper body involved with the exercise.

The CrossWalk S 7.9 features three upper-body “CrossWalk” workout apps.

Treadmill Features

Again, the Weslo CrossWalk S 7.9 treadmill has been reduced to its bare essentials in order to offer a trainer at this price.

However, the treadmill does have a few highlights including blue-tinted LCD display, Dual-Grip Easy-Grip Heart Rate monitor, and QuickSpeed controls.

The blue-tinted LCD display tracks your speed, time, distance and calories burned. The CrossWalk S 7.9 does not support quick controls, but will adjust speed to 10 mph and incline to 10 percent.

If you’re really into music, unfortunately the CrossWalk S 7.9 is not compatible with iPod/mp3 players and has no built-in speakers, an increasing popular feature on today’s treadmills.

The 2.5 HP motor powers 250 lbs. or under users to 10 mph speed and 10 percent incline.

If you’re tight on space the treadmill does fold and is a fairly compact piece of exercise equipment.

Warranty & Guarantee

The Weslo CrossWalk S 7.9 treadmill has the following warranty and guarantee:

- Motor: 5 Years
- Parts: 90 Days
- Labor: 90 Days

Return Policy: 30 day trial-period. Dial 1-866-896-9777 for more information. For sales, contact 1-888-308-9622.

Conclusion

Do you need something compact and affordable?

The Weslo CrossWalk S 7.9 treadmill is a good fit for smaller body sizes that prefer to walk or jog lightly. It’s not, however, for larger users who are searching for a more demanding workout experience.

Of course, the price of the treadmill is amazing, but be weary of the limited warranty and guarantee.
