The powerful 3.25 CHP Mach Z Commercial motor provides durability, strength, and speed  for consistent runners. It will challenge and withstand the demand required for a speed range of 0 – 12 MPH.

The incline/decline range of  -3 to 12%  allows for variety and resistance in your walk or run. The decline gives you the true sense of running outdoors while the 15% incline will add resistance, toning different muscles in your lower body.

There are hundred of options for workout programs. The sheer volume of choices will keep you motivated while increasing your fitness levels. The programs are available via the iFit app, through on-demand trainer-led videos as well as live, trainer-controlled workouts from all over the globe. Furthermore, Google Maps is incorporated into the app to allow you to virtually visit any terrain on the planet. Walk or run on the shores of Seychelles, the sidewalks of New York City or  up Mount Kilimanjaro without leaving your treadmill. It really doesn’t get any cooler than that. No, wait…it does! The incline and decline automatically syncs with the elevation of your chosen terrain. You won’t just see you glob-trotting run, you’ll feel it too.

Conclusion

The ProForm Pro 2000 is a good purchase for beginner and intermediate runners. The  3.25 CHP Mach Z motor provides more than enough for speed and incline. The belt size is longer than the standard home treadmill, making it more comfortable and durable. Between the iFit app and the 50 on-board workout programs, any consistent user can expect a constant challenge. The warranty is decent. There’s not much to complain about. Overall, the Pro 2000 is a great choice for most home gyms. However, if you are looking for more power and bigger screens at least take a peak at what the Smart Pro 5000 and Smart Pro 9000 have to offer. You’ll pay more, but you get more. You know the drill.

What is the step-up height for this treadmill? We have low basement ceilings and I'm wondering if my wife and will be able to run without hitting our head. How much space would you recommend having between the top of your head and the ceiling?

Hi David. Treadmills are really no more than a foot off the floor when standing on the belt so it will not bring you that much higher. You can always contact Proform directly if you want an exact measurement to be sure you will have room in your home.
