NordicTrack T7 si Review

Intro

NordicTrack T7 si

The NordicTrack T7 si replaced the popular NordicTrack C2155 in 2011, and if you are familiar with that treadmill you will notice a lot of the same features with the T7 si.

Among the major differences, the NordicTrack T7 si has a larger motor as well as an improved console and display.

Priced at just over $1,000, the NordicTrack T7 si is affordable for just about everyone and slightly better than a lot of other treadmills in the price range, primarily because it is compatible with iPod/mp3 players, features 2.0 Intermix sound and high resolution display.

Introduction

If you are looking to quickly jump on a machine and get started the NordicTrack T7 si is a viable option in the $1,000-$1,500 price range.

The motor and running deck are within price range standards, and the Durastride Adjustable Cushioning takes the treadmill to another level because of its comfort on back, knees and joints.

Aside from the output of the machine, the NordicTrack T7 si is compatible with an iPod and your tunes sound okay on the 2.0 Intermix Acoustic speakers.

Workout Programs

The NordicTrack T7 si features 12 individual workout programs that automatically adjust speed and incline depending on the program selected.

Users can select from a diverse range of programs, including aerobic, weight loss and performance goals.

The NordicTrack T7 si also has three custom slots for new workouts that you can save and use over and over again.

Also, with Nordic’s AutoBreeze, the four setting cooling fan will keep you comfortable throughout the routine as the fan automatically changes airflow to match the speed at which you run.

Treadmill Features

The NordicTrack T7 si boosts several electronic highlights, from the mp3 compatibility to built-in speakers, high resolution display and Heart Rate monitor; however none is probably more resourceful than the iFit Workout Cards.

Progressively becoming more and more common on treadmills, iFit promises consumers that they can “lose weight, feel great and improve performance in just eight weeks”.

Simply plug an interactive iFit card into the treadmill and follow along, as each program is designed by a Certified Personal Trainer. Comparable to the pre-defined programs built in the treadmill, iFit automatically adjusts your speed and incline with the voice of the trainer talking you through each exercise routine.

Tight on space? The NordicTrack T7 si folds with Space Saver design yet does not sacrifice a lot on durability like some folding treadmills do. Customers rave about the stability of the treadmill, especially for the price paid.
