NordicTrack T7 si Review

This product has been discontinued

Quick Summary

The NordicTrack T7 si replaced the popular NordicTrack C2155 and if you are familiar with that treadmill you will notice a lot of the same features with the T7 si. Among the major differences, the NordicTrack T7 si has a larger motor as well as an improved console and display. Priced at just over $1,000, the NordicTrack T7 si is affordable for just about everyone and slightly better than a lot of other treadmills in the price range, primarily because it is compatible with iPod/mp3 players, features 2.0 Intermix sound, and high resolution display. It’s hardly the best machine on the market though. The most attractive feature of the NordicTrack T7 si is undeniably the pice.

Full Review

If you are looking to quickly jump on a machine and get started, the NordicTrack T7 si is a viable option in the $1,000-$1,500 price range. The motor and running deck are within the standards of that price range and Durastride Adjustable Cushioning takes the treadmill to another level because of the comfort it provides to the back, knees and joints.

Aside from the output of the machine, the NordicTrack T7 si is compatible with an iPod and your tunes sound fine on the 2.0 Intermix Acoustic speakers.

Workout Programs

The NordicTrack T7 si features 12 individual workout programs that automatically adjust speed and incline depending on the program. Users can select from a diverse range of programs, including aerobic, weight loss, and performance goals. The NordicTrack T7 si also has three custom slots for new workouts that you can save and use over and over. Nordic’s AutoBreeze, the four setting cooling fan, will keep you comfortable throughout any workout as the fan automatically changes airflow to match the speed at which you run.

Features

The NordicTrack T7 si boosts several electronic highlights including mp3 compatibility, built-in speakers, a high resolution display, and a heart rate monitor. However none of these areas useful as the iFit Workout Cards.

Progressively becoming more and more common on treadmills, iFit promises consumers that they can “lose weight, feel great, and improve performance in just eight weeks”.

Simply plug an interactive iFit card into the treadmill and follow along. Each program is designed by a Certified Personal Trainer. Comparable to the pre-defined programs built in the treadmill, iFit automatically adjusts your speed and incline with the voice of the trainer talking you through each exercise routine.

Tight on space? The NordicTrack T7 si folds with Space Saver design yet does not sacrifice  durability in the process like some folding treadmills. Customers rave about the stability of the treadmill, especially for this price paid.

Conclusion

The NordicTrack T7 si has plenty of highlights for its price tag. Produced by a reputable manufacture, the T7 si treadmill is versatile with some fantastic luxuries like the iFit Workout Cards, iPod dock, Grafixx Hi-Res display, 1-Touch controls and CardioGrip pulse grips. It’s quite a dated machine these days, so it’s only really impressive if you can get it for a cheap price.
