Introduction

The Nautilus T514 is a friendly compromise between durability and compactness. The frame feels pretty sturdy when you walk/jog on it with a wide base, while also keeping the ability to fold when not in use.

While it does free up room (transport wheels also included), the T514 is easily not the most compact treadmill on the market and heavy to move.

The T514 offers a 2.75 CHP motor with speeds that reach 12 mph and 12 percent incline.

Stay cool and comfortable with a built-in cooling fan, and easily monitor heart rate with pulse grips as well as a wireless telemetry strap.

Workout Programs

The Nautilus T514 treadmill provides 19 pre-defined workouts, a number that is slightly above-average compared to other competitors.

The programs include six time/distance courses, calorie goal, two custom programs as well as pre-set 5K and 10K courses monitored closely with four polar heart rate programs (with telemetry, grip and chest belt included).

Additionally, stay cool with a unique fan design that integrates both convenience and comfort.

Treadmill Features

The quick speed and incline remote controls make shifting mid-workout effortless, definitely a must-have for those of you who like to alter your workout on the fly.

The large deck size (20″ x 55″ inches) provides an ideal running surface as does the SoftTrak suspension designed specifically to reduce the impact that running and walking has on your joints.

Subtle but important features like a water bottle holder and magazine rack are really nice.

Even often overlooked features like the ability to switch from miles to kilometers (KM) is included with the Nautilus T514.

The Nautilus T514 does not have many of the latest electronic advances, but if an iPod dock or improved display graphics are not that important to you its only a minor issue.
