Key specs for performance include a 3.0 CHP commercial motor, a 60″ x 20″ track with great shock absorption, and a top speed of 13.5 mph. Trainees can create customized workouts, use heart rate control, or choose from 19 diverse workout programs focused on weight loss, sports performance and healthy living. Workout Programs

There’s something for everyone with the 19 preset workout routines on LifeSpan’s TR5000i Light Commercial Treadmill. The menu includes warm up and cool down programs, five programs for weight management, five for healthy living and seven for sports training. Each program can be operated in incline control or speed control mode. Examples of program titles are Long Slow Distance, Cardio Run, Short Interval, Moderate Interval, Long Interval, Uphill Climb and Heart Health Ladder. Also included are two programs controlled by heart rate. Two customized workouts can be saved to the console.

The programming screen is a 6.5″ LCD with blue backlighting. It shows Time, Calories, Distance, Steps, Heart Rate, Speed, Pace, Incline and Elevation Gained.

The TR5000i offers two ways to manage exercise data for long-term tracking. One option is saving session data to a USB drive and uploading it to the LifeSpan Club. Another option is using Bluetooth to sync the treadmill computer with mobile fitness apps.

The USB port used for data transfer can also charge many mobile devices. It doesn’t work with iPads 1, 2 or 3.

A media holder can support a smartphone or tablet computer for viewing during workouts. The TR5000i also has an iPod-compatible jack and speakers.

For heart rate monitoring the TR5000i arrives with a wireless chest strap. It also has contact heart rate sensors.

For workout boosts LifeSpan treadmills have automated ramps. Quickset™ buttons make it convenient to adjust the tilt up to 15%.
