“3 Body-Changing Workouts, 1 Easy Motion.”
The slogan reads for the Nautilus Mobia and frankly it’s best way to explain the technology of the TreadClimber.
The Nautilus Mobia features a similar walking motion to the treadmill. However, since the trainer works independently you also step up like a stair climber. When you combine these two actions you get a more intense workout with the smooth, low impact motion of an elliptical.
Thus, you could say the TreadClimber is the offspring of what a treadmill and elliptical would produce.
The Nautilus Mobia offers five individual workout programs or functions: Speed, Distance, Time, Total Calories, Heart Rate.
While the workout variety may not quite compare to what you can find on a stereotypical treadmill the workout functions are more than enough to deliver quality results.
Everything is tracked really nicely on the LED display with five separate readouts.
The Nautilus Mobia features a maximum speed of 4mph with the aforementioned 3-in-1 motion that produces amazing results at a walker’s pace. Consequently, the ability to walk with high-end results reduces impact on the joints and muscles.
In a study conducted at New York’s Adelphi University, Mobia modality burned up to 2x more calories in 30 minutes than a treadmill at the same speed.
Along with the exceptional performance, the Nautilus Mobia features 12 levels of resistance, Chest Strap Heart Rate monitor, accessory tray and Quick Controls. The TreadClimber is also very portable at 200 lbs. and equipped with transport wheels.
