It is the second of three upright exercise bikes in its series. The 815 is virtually identical to the top-of-the-line 835, which costs about $600 more. The main difference between these two models is the number of preset programs. The 815 has six workout programs (versus 12 on the higher model), 25 resistance levels and three-position handlebars for upright, cruising and road positions. The seat stem is precisely angled to minimize pressure put on your knees, making this an especially low impact upright exercise bike. The Precor UBK 815 has a base price of $3,255 with a 10-year parts warranty and one-year labor warranty.

The Precor UBK 815 is a luxury exercise bike built for all skill levels. It offers a wide range of resistance and is smooth-running (not jerky) even at the lowest setting. For great ergonomics its seat stem is precisely angled and riders can choose from 14 saddle positions. Three comfortable riding styles are supported too with adjustable handlebars: road, upright and cruising. Workout Programs

The Precor UBK 815 is programmed with six classic workouts: Heart Rate, Hill Climb, Interval, Manual, Random and Weight Loss. Also available is Quick Start mode with settings customized for the user.

Data are shown on LED with green lighting. The feedback shown during exercise are Calories, Distance, Speed, Heart Rate Profile, SmartRate®, Resistance, RPM, Time Elapsed, Time Remaining and Percent Complete. At the conclusion of each workout the screen shows a workout summary and a heart rate analysis.

The monitor is multilingual and has US Standard and metric options.

Precor UBK 815 Features

This commercial quality bike has a  steel frame with welded joints. It’s finished with two layers of steel powder coating.

For a just-right stride length the Precor 815 has 14 seat positions. Height adjustments are made with pop-pins, no tools required. The stem is angled with good attention to biomechanics, keeping your knees ideally positioned over your feet for minimal strain.

Heart rate monitoring is made easy with Polar wireless compatibility. Additionally this bike has touch pulse sensors built into the handlebars. For advanced monitoring Smart Rate instantly analyzes your heart rate based on your age and weight. It can display a constant readout of your exertion level to help you exertion for fat burn, cardio and your peak performance zone.
To avoid adding to energy bills, this bike has a generator and can be self-powered. To remain charged the battery must be used regularly. For bikes that only get light use an optional electrical power supply can be added by a Precor technician.
