Introduction

The only thing you can ask for with a quality and dependable elliptical is one that rides without a choppy feel and frame which remains durable under intense workouts.

Of course, having a stride length to supplement your natural walking motion is important too.

The Sole E98 is looking to bypass some of the gimmicks we’ve seen on other, lower priced ellipticals by producing a trainer designed for a commercial environment.

Workout Programs

The Sole E98 elliptical provides a rather basic list of six preset workout programs, including two custom settings and two programs for heart rate.

The built-in pulse grips and chest strap included with purchase allows you to get quick heart rate readings in order to stay within a target zone.

The Sole E98 is also not compatible with iFit Live or Intelligent Weight Management which is a notable knock on the elliptical.

Elliptical Features

The Sole E98 is first highlighted by its articulating foot pedals which were ergonomically positioned for a natural stride. Furthermore, the 20 inch stride length accommodates just about any size user.

The foot pedals were developed in collaboration with a leading physical therapist, featuring a 2 degree inward slope which reduces ankle and knee stress common in other light commercial ellipticals.

An articulating foot pedal system understands that not everyone walks the same and thus conform to your natural stride.

The 34 lb flywheel on the E98 elliptical delivers smooth performance with a sturdy frame that supports users up to 400 lbs.

A 9 inch LCD display located directly on the console is larger than most screen sizes on trainers, ideal for quick exercise readouts (including heart rate monitoring).

The Sole E98 also features power incline which creates a completely different workout that targets areas of the lower body that normally would not be worked out on an elliptical.

Warranty & Guarantee

The Sole E98 elliptical features a standard and light commercial warranty:

- Frame: Lifetime
- Electronics: 5 Years / 3 Years
- Parts: 5 Years / 3 Years
- Labor: 2 Years / 1 Year

Return Policy: 30 day trial-period guaranteed, contact Sole Fitness at 1-866-780-7653 for more information.

Conclusion

The Sole E98 is an elliptical designed for a light commercial setting. The articulating foot pedals and power incline are welcomed additions to a type of fitness equipment which is sometimes hard to distinguish one model from another.
