Introduction

The ProForm 600 ZNE is one of the top values in the $500 to $1,000 price range.

Why?

Priced at $799, the ProForm 600 ZNE is very affordable and features some real luxuries like iFit Live, iPod/mp3 compatibility, Intermix 2.0 speakers and Dual-Grip EKG heart rate monitoring.

The elliptical also folds with SpaceSaver design, allowing you to open up much needed extra space in the room when not in use. Users will also appreciate the 3-Position adjustable incline ramp adding variety to your workout routine.

Workout Programs

The ProForm 600 ZNE is equipped with 18 pre-defined workout programs.

However, the excitement really begins when you tap into the innovative new iFit Live featuring Jillian Michaels. Before we get too deep into the feature, it’s important to note that the 600 ZNE is compatibile with iFit Live, but you will need to fork over an additional $129 per year to use it plus the wireless adapter needed to run the program.

iFit Live connects with the Internet (Wi-Fi required) to allow access to a personalized account on iFit.com. There, you can define fitness goals, download new workouts, etc, etc.

Once a new workout is added to your routine, the elliptical controls automatically adjust intensity and you can hear the trainer who designed the program adding tips and motivation from the audio speakers. iFit Live also works with Google Maps to simulate terrain based on actual locations.

If that is not enough (or you do not want to spend the extra cash for iFit), the ProForm 600 ZNE also features eight timed workouts which round out a nice pre-defined variety including the 10 built-in weight loss programs.

Elliptical Features

The ProForm 600 ZNE conveniently folds with SpaceSaver folding design and has transport wheels if you plan to move the trainer around a lot.

Make the most out of every workout by monitoring your heart rate with these built-in handlebar sensors. They will ensure you are in the right training zone for your goals.

Burn more calories and add muscle tone with upper-body workouts arms (w/ Soft Grips) that provide a complete body workout.

The oversized, cushioned pedals are a nice touch to the elliptical, as is the CoolAire workout fan which provides a comforting breeze while you exercise.

If listening to music while you exercise is an absolute must, you’ll be happy to learn that the ProForm 600 ZNE is compatible with iPod/mp3 players and music is playable on Intermix Acoustics 2.0 built-in speakers.

Have a specific workout in mind? Isolate glutes, quads & calves for faster results with 3-position manual incline. Track your speed, time, distance, calories and pulse as well as get inspirational from the built-in Graffix display system.

The only knock on the ProForm 600 ZNE is that the trainer is only advertised to support a max user weight of 275 lbs., and the number of resistance levels on the elliptical is slightly down from its competitors.

Warranty & Guarantee

The ProForm 600 ZNE elliptical warranty and guarantee includes:

– Frame: Lifetime
– Parts: 1 Year
– Electronics: 1 Year
– Labor: 1 Year

ProForm offers a 30-day trial period on all products. If you are not satisfied for any reason call 1-866-896-9777.

Conclusion

The ProForm 600 ZNE does come with a few faults, namely the questionable durability of the frame and small warranty. Still, it is difficult to pass up on this good of an offer.

Compare to other top ellipticals priced under $1,000.
