Introduction

The NordicTrack E5Vi is highlighted by the aforementioned 1-Step SpaceSaver design, iPod dock, adjustable stride length (13″, 15″, 18″), 16 workout programs and ClearView display.

Unfortunately, the elliptical does have a few flaws which are to be expected in the budget price range. For starters, we’re not exactly keen on only having 10 resistance options and durability issues do exist with the frame.

Regardless, NordicTrack did want to put out an elliptical that is attractive to consumers with a tight budget and they’re doing a pretty good job of offering a model that is at least competitive.

Workout Programs

The NordicTrack E5Vi offers 16 pre-defined workout options, a stellar number considering the price paid.

All of the programs are designed by Certified Personal Trainers and intended to burn fat, lose calories as well as keep you motivated.

Along with the excellent number of pre-defined workout options, the NordicTrack E5Vi is packaged with an EKG Grip Pulse Heart Rate monitor.

Lose weight, feel great and improve performance in just eight weeks with iFit interactive workout card technology, which plugs directly into the ellipticals console. The programs automatically adjust your resistance and incline, while the voice of a personal trainer takes you through each workout.
