Our Rating
Rating: 92.8/100. The Cybex 625A Arc Trainer is a very effective alternative to elliptical machines for burning calories and toning the lower body. It uses an arc or crescent-shaped motion instead of an elliptical path, enabling about 16% more efficient calorie burn. The low impact arc motion lets trainees exercise for longer sessions before fatigue sets in, plus it minimizes the chance of joint injury. The 625A also has the advantage of supporting diverse motion. Its movements support cross-country gliding, stair climbing and striding. This versatility helps keep workouts interesting while enabling beautifully targeted muscle sculpting. Cybex Arc Trainers also have reverse motion for toning the quads and glutes.
A good variety of workout programs is included and the machine’s resistance can be controlled by heart rate data sent wirelessly or with touch sensors. Programming can be shown on a mid-sized LED screen or a 15.6″ HD display that gives access to Cybex GO workout programs, live TV, on-demand TV, the web and more.
Cybex Arc Trainers are built in the USA. They’re sold with a choice of three warranties: residential, entry commercial and full commercial. All Cybex cardio trainers are available with custom frame colors to match customers’ branding or home decor. The MSRP for the 625A is $7,795.
